FREE Vacation In Spain Europe – Yes FREE Vacation 7 Days At 5 Star Resort

No, I am not an MLM whore (not that MLMs are bad….I´m not commenting on the other thing though….)

And I am NOT selling a time share….(those can be a little shady….)

Last year, I stumbled upon a great website that promised a FREE week in Spain at a 5 Star Resort.

Everything paid….Food and Accommodations…no tricks…

No hooks, all I had to do was speak English for 7 days..I thought, “Hey I can do that!”
(and of course I had to come up with an airline ticket…not everything is FREE…c´mon you cheap bastards…its only the airfare)

So I applied….on Thursday and the very next day on Friday morning.. I was accepted…

Well no turning back now…the wheels were in motion.

Man I was stoked…(That´s a technical term…it means I was really happy)

I had tons of airline miles saved…

Enough for a FREE round trip ticket to Europe so I figured, what the hell!

I´m in…I will try anything at least once.. (For those of you who need FREE air travel I have a couple of suggestions at the bottom of this post..)

Note: With airline miles….you still have to pay the damn taxes…(Death and taxes….death and taxes..) It was only $130…not bad for a fun filled trip to Spain…

Well I thought a week in Spain…hmm…I´ve never been to Europe… and Spain is close to a bunch of other countries I´d love to see, “Why not extend my trip to 5 weeks?”

And that´s what I did…

So I packed my bags and did a whirl wind trip to, London, Madrid, Paris, Rome….

What an adventure…! The trip of a lifetime…

For those of you interested there are two really great companies in Spain (Sorry Richard…I have to mention the other guys….but I will put your company first…)

Vaughan Town – Created by Richard Vaughan. A fellow North American and all around awesome guy.

They have three towns which are swanky….really posh. (5 Star Resorts…)

Oh yeah, and three more things:

1) When you get approved (..because you most likely will be approved…) you need to book a place ahead of time, one or two days before leaving.

(You book a hostel/hotel a day or two because when you arrive you need a place to stay before the bus for the resort takes off the next morning…) for places go to http://www.hostelworld.com/

For those of you, saying a HOSTEL!! Hostels in Spain are like hotels….really clean, nice, and quiet and CHEAP.

2) For those of you cheap bastards that either don´t have air miles or can´t afford a ticket to a FREE 5 Star resort with food included… check out the following:

Note: I want to qualify that I have not used this….but I met this crazy chick that swears by it…she said she got tons cheap flights…

This is another one that I have not done…but I will say that I was in the movie theater in Madrid with my friend Dede

And we happened to sit right next to this girl from the states (Texas…I think..) that was a courier…

She told us she does it all the time…because in Europe they have tons of requests for donor organs….and they give you a FREE round trip air ticket……

3) If you plan on staying in Europe and touring… DON´T buy a euro rail pass….why…?

Because flying is cheaper…and even solo tickets on the high speed or normal trains are cheaper…

Great Explanation Of Japan´s Nuclear Plants

AMY GOODMAN: Talk about exactly—I mean, as a physicist, to explain to people—exactly what has taken place in Japan at these nuclear power plants.

DR. MICHIO KAKU: Think of driving a car, and the car all of a sudden lunges out of control. You hit the brakes. The brakes don’t work. That’s because the earthquake wiped out the safety systems in the first minute of the earthquake and tsunami. Then your radiator starts to heat up and explodes. That’s the hydrogen gas explosion. And then, to make it worse, the gas tank is heating up, and all of a sudden your whole car is going to be in flames. That’s the full-scale meltdown.

So what do you do? You drive the car into a river. That’s what the utility did by putting seawater, seawater from the Pacific Ocean, in a desperate attempt to keep water on top of the core. But then, seawater has salt in it, and that gums up your radiator. And so, what do you do? You call out the local firemen. And so, now you have these Japanese samurai warriors. They know that this is potentially a suicide mission. They’re coming in with hose water—hose water—trying to keep water over the melted nuclear reactor cores. So that’s the situation now. So, when the utility says that things are stable, it’s only stable in the sense that you’re dangling from a cliff hanging by your fingernails. And as the time goes by, each fingernail starts to crack. That’s the situation now.

Plato´s Allegory

The other day I read a rather interesting tale that discusses what would happen if the reality you once knew was not the reality you always thought it was. Plato´s Allegory is probably the precursor to the blockbuster hit movie, The Matrix.

As I reflect on the this, I realize that we indeed may be just sleep walking.  Or maybe not. Who actually know?

Here is the allegory,

 

T hree prisoners have been chained deep inside a cave for their whole life. They are chained so tightly that all they ever see or experience are the grotesque shadows cast on a wall from a fire that is burning behind them. This is the only reality they have ever known.

T hen one day, a prisoner is released. He is blinded by the light outside the cave and astonished to see a completely new reality of people, animals, and objects casting these shadows into the cave.

H e scurries back to tell the prisoners the news, but to his dismay, the prisoners do not believe his fantastic stories of the world outside of the cave. For the shadows on the wall are the only reality the prisoners have ever known, and therefore, to them, that is all that will ever exist.
